Taylor Davis Ed.S, LPC, is an esteemed therapist trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), holding an Ed.S in Counselor Education, specializing in Marriage, Couples, & Family Therapy from the University of South Carolina (USC). With a eleven-year tenure in South Carolina's therapeutic landscape, Ms. Davis is adept in addressing Trauma & Stressor-related disorders, family conflicts, behavior-related disorders, Anxiety, Depression, Personality Disorders, and Suicidality. Renowned for her empathetic and tailored approach, she strives to fortify individuals in overcoming their struggles, fostering resilience and optimism.  She opened her brick and mortar therapy practice, Carolina Family Wellness Collaborative, in 2023 which proudly provides individual, group, family and couples counseling services to individuals of all ages.

In her early career, Ms. Davis dedicated herself to youth mental health, advocating for at-risk youth and dropout prevention in the education system. Her roles encompassed serving as an Alternative School Transition Coordinator and a school-based family therapist with Family Intervention Services. She also made significant contributions as the School Suicide Prevention Program Coordinator with the SC Youth Suicide Prevention Initiative (SCYSPI), where she played a crucial role in developing comprehensive suicide care pathways across South Carolina.  

Since 2019, Ms. Davis has been a pivotal figure in the School Behavioral Health Research lab in USC's Department of Psychology. Her extensive experience includes her former role as Program Manager for The Behavioral Alliance of South Carolina (BASC) and her position as the Associate Program Manager for the South Carolina School Behavioral Health Academy (SCSBHA). Her multifaceted expertise not only underscores her clinical proficiency but also her commitment to advancing mental health research and practice.

Denise Forehand

Denise Forehand is a life-long educator with extensive experience in Special Education and School Counseling, both at the school level and divisionwide.  She believes in creating spaces for all voices to be heard and using data to improve outcomes for families and communities.

Josh Harrower, Ph.D., BCBA-D

 Josh Harrower, Ph. D., BCBA-D is the Lawton Love Distinguished Professor of Special Education and Chair of the Department of Education and Leadership at California State University, Monterey Bay. Dr. Harrower has coordinated a number of state and federal grants providing professional development and technical assistance to schools, districts and county offices of education in the area of functional assessment, behavior intervention and positive behavior interventions and support (PBIS). Dr. Harrower has secured funding and provided support to grant funded projects totaling over $10 million in the areas of educator development, school climate transformation, school mental health, early intervention for autism and PBIS. Dr. Harrower is a founding member of California PBIS, serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Positive Behavior Interventions, and is an Editorial Board member for Focus on Autism and Other Developmental Disorders. His research and conceptual articles have been published in scientific journals including the Journal of Positive Behavior Interventions, the Research and Practice for Persons with Severe Disabilities, Preventing School Failure and Exceptionality. His primary areas of scholarship include state-wide PBIS scale-up efforts, functional behavior assessment and individualized behavior supports and pivotal response treatment. 

Dr. Patti Hershfeldt

Dr. Patti Hershfeldt is a Youth Engagement Specialist and National Training and Technical Assistance Facilitator with more than 15 years of experience supporting schools in the implementation of PBIS/MTSS (since 2007). She co-chairs a national high school network that convenes implementers and researchers for ongoing collaboration, problem solving, and continuous improvement. Her professional expertise includes equity, classroom systems, and youth voice. Dr. Hershfeldt previously served as a Faculty Associate in the School of Education at Johns Hopkins University, where she taught coursework in PBIS, classroom management, and special education. She is also a former high school special education teacher with 15 years of classroom experience.

Dr. Nikole Hollins-Sims

Dr. Nikole Hollins-Sims is a highly regarded educational leader, consultant, and speaker, known for her expertise in equitable practices, systems transformation, and leadership coaching. She continues to guide schools and organizations in building sustainable, human-centered practices. Dr. Hollins-Sims has been awarded as a Moral and Courageous Leader for Education by Cabrini University in 2021, and was named the 2021 Pennsylvania School Psychologist of the Year. Some of her career highlights are serving as the lead author of the book titled: Creating Equitable Practices in PBIS, and serving as a selected presenter at the 2024 MTSS Forum at the United States Department of Education.

Kami Murphy

Kami Murphy is a visionary educational leader and strategic collaborator with three decades of experience building integrated systems within education and mental health. Specializing in the complex alignment of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), Kami partners with school districts and state agencies to turn complex grant funding into scalable, sustainable programs. Drawing on her active role as Director of Student Health and Wellness, where she pioneered a state-recognized rural School-Based Health Center model, she provides actionable blueprints for capacity building and resource optimization. Recognized with the 2025 Inaugural California PBIS Legacy Award and currently completing her EdD in Leadership and Innovation at Purdue University Global, Kami brings both academic rigor and proven, on-the-ground executive leadership to help organizations bridge the gap between theoretical services and direct practice.

Natalie Sedano

Natalie Sedano is an Intervention Counselor within Chino Valley Unified School District. Natalie has been in the field of education for 18 years. She holds a Master’s Degree and PPS credentials in Educational Counseling and in School Psychology. Natalie has worked as a special education aide, intervention specialist for at-promise youth, a school counselor, a prevention and intervention lead specialist, and a school psychologist. Natalie has been a school site and district PBIS coach. Enthusiastic and determined, she is passionate about advancing education effectiveness by interconnecting school mental health and school-wide positive behavioral support. She is an advocate for systems and ensuring that the “whole” child is addressed.
